Call for EPICUR Course Proposals

The Call for EPICUR Course Proposals is always open and we look forward to your contributions!

Info : In order to ensure that course proposals can be included in the course catalogue for the coming semester, we have several deadlines throughout the year for submitting course proposals. These deadlines will be published in the News section of the website.

EPICUR Courses

We invite teaching staff from all partner institutions to propose courses (and other non-credit learning activities) that are accessible to students across the Alliance without the need to go abroad for a full semester.

Why offer Courses in EPICUR?

By offering your learning activity through EPICUR, you have the opportunity to increase diversity in your classroom, create an intercultural learning space, become part of an international community of academics, gain teaching experience (especially if you are an early career university teacher), and get access to EPICUR’s teacher support, etc.

Topics and Formats

We particularly welcome course proposals that take an innovative approach to teaching by integrating different fields of study and encouraging collaboration between students. We also encourage teaching staff from EPICUR partner universities to collaborate, exchange and develop courses together through co-teaching. Many opportunities such as connecting through the CoTeachConnector, sharing resources, collaborating and much more can be found on the EPICUR Centre for International Teaching & Learning (EPiC TLC). Different course formats such as virtual, hybrid, blended or face-to-face block courses. We aim to offer EPICUR students a wide range of courses on different topics within the EPICUR priority areas and, where applicable, strategic subthemes. The EPICUR priority areas are Sustainable Transformation, European Values, Global Health, Future Intelligence and Transversal Skills. More detailed information can be found in the spreadsheet that you can download below.

Submission information

Course Proposals can be submitted at any time of the year. However, if you wish to propose a course, we advise you to contact your Institutional Coordinator as soon as possible, as the EPICUR deadlines for courses to be inclued into the EPICUR Course Catalogue are quite early due to different university schedules.

Feel free to invite your colleagues who are interested in contributing to innovative, international education by offering a new course or opening EPICUR places in existing courses.

Please submit your proposal using the spreadsheet and send it to the EPICUR Institutional Coordinator responsible for reviewing offers at your university (the university that will award credits). Click here to find your university´s email address.
