A significant step for EPICUR

On 26th May 2026,  Sciences Po Strasbourg hosted an important moment through a symbolic ceremony the signing of the international cooperation agreement establishing the EPICUR Triple Master’s Program in European Geopolitics, International Security, and Law (EGISL)

Beyond the signing itself, this agreement is the result of a long-term collaborative process and international cooperation.

The project was developed in close cooperation with colleagues from Sciences Po Strasbourg at the University of Strasbourg, Adam-Mickiewicz University in Poznań, and the University of Southern Denmark in Odense. It reflects more than two years of dialogue, field trips, exchanges, legal and administrative work, and shared academic commitment.

This is also where the “EPICUR spirit” takes shape: not as an abstract concept, but as the daily practice of cooperation, openness and learning from one another. Through this joint programme, the partner universities are creating a truly European academic pathway, enabling future students to experience Europe through people, conversations, different perspectives, and knowledge.

In September, fifteen students will begin this journey. A modest cohort, but a meaningful one, and an ambitious programme.

In times of uncertainty, geopolitical tensions, and new challenges for international security and law, Europe demonstrates once again that it is not an abstract concept or a political concept. And that European universities play a key role in this construction, by bringing together students, academics and institutions to shape new ways to learn, teach, and research across Europe!
