EPICUR's triple Master degree

The EPICUR Master’s in European Geopolitics, International Security and Law (EGISL) is a highly selective, English-taught programme for students seeking more than a traditional Master’s degree. Each year, only 15 students join a single international cohort and study across three European countries.

EGISL provides you with an integrated understanding of European and international law, security, geopolitics, borders, and territorial diplomacy, equipping you to tackle a wide range of European and global challenges while building the practical skills and global network needed for a high-impact career.

Through full academic mobility, you will spend each of your first three semesters at one of the leading European universities, all members of the EPICUR Alliance. This experience provides first-hand exposure to different perspectives of the international system, teaching methods, and cultural contexts – building adaptability and intercultural skills.

Meet the Programme’s Academic Team

Prof. Katarzyna Klafkowska-Wasniowska

Prof. Katarzyna Klafkowska-Waśniowska is Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland), where she has been Head of the European Law Department since 2021 and held the Jean Monnet Chair 2022-2025. She is also Head of the EPICUR Triple Master’s in European Geopolitics, International Security and Law (EGISL).

Prof. Vincent Keating

Vincent Keating is Head of Section for International Politics and Associate Professor of International Relations at the Center for War Studies, University of Southern Denmark, in Denmark. He is also Responsible for the Master’s programme in International Security and Law and for the EPICUR Master’s Programme in European Geopolitics, International Security and Law (EGISL).

Prof. Birte Wassenberg

Birte Wassenberg is Professor of Contemporary History and International Relations at Sciences Po Strasbourg, Université de Strasbourg (France). She is Head of the Master’s programmes in International Relations, including the Geopolitics, Borders and Territorial Diplomacy (GEODIP) track and the EPICUR Programme in European Geopolitics, International Security and Law (EGISL).
