EPICUR European Universities Start-Up Competition 2026: Call for Applications
Are you a student at an EPICUR Alliance partner university with a start-up idea? This is your moment.
The EPICUR European Universities Start-Up Competition brings together student teams from across the Alliance to develop, refine, and pitch innovative start-up ideas through a structured process. The final event takes place online on 11 October 2026.
Who can apply?
Enrolled undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students from any EPICUR partner university are eligible.
Teams of 2 to 5 members are recommended, but solo applicants and cross-institutional teams are also welcome.
Each team submits one original start-up idea, along with an application form and a pitch deck (PDF, in English, maximum 10 slides).
How it works?
If more than 15 teams apply, a preliminary round will take place: a 5-minute pitch followed by a 3-minute Q&A, with feedback for every team and the top 10 advancing to the final.
In the final round, teams pitch again, refining their presentation based on the feedback received, before a jury of academic representatives and members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
