EPICUR EGISL Master’s Programme
Advancing the Student Journey Through Collaboration

On 9–10 April 2026, administrative staff involved in the EPICUR European Geopolitics, International Security and Law (EGISL) Master’s Programme gathered in Odense for the Triple Degree – Student Journey Workshop, hosted by the University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
This workshop marked the first in-person meeting between colleagues from Sciences Po Strasbourg (Unistra), Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU), and University of Southern Denmark (SDU). The main objective was to test and refine administrative processes ahead of the arrival of the first student cohort, with a strong focus on ensuring a smooth and coherent student journey – from recruitment to graduation.
The event began with a welcome dinner, offering participants the opportunity to connect informally and strengthen interpersonal relationships. The following day, the workshop officially opened with remarks from Jan Guldager Jørgensen, Vice-Dean for Education at the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences at SDU. He highlighted both the strategic importance of the programme and the significant progress already achieved through inter-institutional collaboration. On this occasion, the international cooperation agreements were handed over by Polish colleagues, marking an important step in their circulation and signature process among partner institutions.
Throughout the day, participants engaged in hands-on collaborative work. They mapped the entire student journey, analysed document flows, and identified critical interfaces as well as potential risks. This practical simulation enabled teams to anticipate operational challenges.
The workshop concluded with the identification of shared priorities and concrete next steps. Beyond process optimisation, the meeting provided a valuable platform for exchanging best practices, strengthening coordination, and reinforcing a shared administrative culture across institutions.
If one key takeaway emerged from the discussions, it was the central role of communication as cornerstone for the success of this ambitious European joint programme.
